Dear NYF Parents, Coaches and Players,
My name is Greg Daly and as many of you know, I’ve run the Norwell Youth Football program for the last few years and this is my 2nd season running the annual golf fundraiser for our program. I am also a coach and proud parent of a 7th grade player. This is our annual event to raise funds for all our Norwell Youth Football teams as well as for Norwell Little League.
We use these funds to keep registration fees affordable and to maintain or replace the equipment needed to keep our kids safe. The Norwell Youth Football program is volunteer based, like most other youth programs. We know it’s a hectic time of year, but we need your help to make our fundraising goals. In the next few weeks you will be receiving your child(ren)’s uniform. We will also be handing you an envelope with Raffle Tickets and further information regarding the upcoming Golf Tournament and dinner. The raffle ticket winners will be identified at halftime of our last varsity home game in October.
The golf fundraiser is September 19th at Indian Pond Country Club. Lunch is provided during the registration period and the shotgun start is at 12:30pm. Whether you are a scratch golfer or a hack like me, it’s a great time at a beautiful club with fun people. Join us for drinks and dinner starting approximately at 5pm as it’s also an excellent way to meet other parents and coaches involved in Norwell Youth Football.
